We wanted to share a quick update about dangerous driving in your area. Please be assured we’re working to keep everyone safe.

Local ward officers attended locations on Parsonage Lane and Willow Road this afternoon to implement a speeding operation using a handheld speed device, following feedback and concerns from local residents.

There was no overly excess speed recorded whilst officers were present, one driver was reported for no insurance during a stop.

If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders.
